Military Signals Instructor - Contract
Whitetree is seeking an experienced former Military Signals Instructor based in Dorset to join our specialist delivery team on an upcoming outside IR35, circa-12 month contract.
This is a delivery-focused role (DSAT Element 3)—ideal for individuals who thrive in structured training environments and take pride in delivering high-fidelity, standardised instruction that directly enhances operational capability.
You will play a critical role in delivering Communications & Information Systems (CIS) training across secure and high-risk environments, supporting national capability.
The Role As a Trainer, you will: Develop lesson plans in line with the agreed lesson specifications and the assessment strategy Develop assessments in line with the assessment strategy and assessment specifications Deliver DSAT-compliant training in line with approved lesson plans (LPs), training objectives (TOs) and enabling objectives (EOs) Facilitate engaging, structured training across: CIS systems and communications protocols, operational coordination and command principles, and secure, complex working environments Deliver both classroom-based sessions and scenario-led practical exercises Conduct learner assessments and provide clear, structured feedback Maintain strict adherence to training design Cooperate and coordinate with, and contribute to, ongoing evaluation and assurance activities Conduct Train-the-Trainer activities to enable an enduring, client-led solution

Desirable Control room or operational communications experience
Qualifications Military instructional qualification (e.g. Defence Trainer Capability) is desirable Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent) is desirable Currently SC cleared
