The Role: Mince Room Supervisor

Key Purpose

The Mince Room Supervisor will:

  • Lead the team to meet and exceed production targets
  • Ensure 100% compliance with quality, health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Maintain product integrity, traceability, and food safety in accordance with HACCP, GMP, and legislative requirements

  • Health, safety & ethical compliance
  • Traceability & auditable records

This position ensures efficiency, efficiency, and excellence, contributing directly to customer satisfaction, employee performance, and site productivity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Production Leadership: Stay ahead of targets, drive continuous improvement, and challenge inefficiencies.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce strict adherence to customer specifications, critical control points, and regulatory compliance.
  • Cost & Efficiency: Monitor raw material efficiency, waste minimisation, and cost control.
  • H&S Compliance: Maintain a safe and compliant working environment – personal PPE, equipment safety, and workplace hygiene.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with Managers, Quality Teams, and Internal Auditors to ensure service excellence.
  • Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve production, quality, or process anomalies promptly.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise staff, enforce code of conduct, and maintain a structured and hygienic workplace.
