Job Description
We have several vacancies available to start from September 2026.
Working hours: Approximately 13-18 hours per week – split shift. Approx. 7.15 a.m. – 8.45 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. - 5.15 p.m. term time only (176 days per year)
Ad hoc additional hours may also be available from time to time
We are looking for Minibus Chaperones to support our expanding bus network which is available to pupils on a daily basis. Our routes cover Gateshead, Derwent Valley, Durham, Wearside, North Tyneside, The Tyne Valley and Northumberland. Safeguarding, paediatric first aid and other pastoral care training will be provided, where necessary. Additional hours supporting school activities and holiday clubs throughout the year may also be available on either a regular or ad hoc basis.
