Stirling Council is excited to be expanding the bus services we operate and launching a brand-new bus service as part of a 2-year pilot project. This new service will connect the Eastern Villages to Stirling, improving links for local communities—and we’re looking for reliable, customer-focused drivers to help make it a success.
This is your chance to play a key role in shaping a brand-new route and provide a vital service that people depend on every day.
What You’ll Do
- Operate Council vehicles on local bus routes ensuring punctual, reliable journeys.
- Providing a friendly and professional service to passengers.
- Handle cash transactions.
- Maintaining high standards of safety and customer care.
- Assist passengers when needed, making journeys accessible and comfortable.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of Category D1 licence (PCV experience desirable).
- Excellent communication and basic numeric skills.
- Ability to work independently and carry out physical duties.
- A friendly, helpful attitude and commitment to safety.

Desirable Criteria
- MiDAS training and experience with mobility aids.
- First Aid qualification.
- Previous experience in accessible transport.
