Minibus Driver (D1 / PCV Licence)

Location: Maidenhead, SL6 6AW

Hours: 25 hours per week, term time only (c.36 weeks)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you a reliable, safety-focused driver looking for a rewarding term-time role? We are seeking a professional Minibus Driver to support the safe and efficient transport of passengers.

About The Role

We are looking for a dependable and professional Minibus Driver to join a busy team. Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from designated locations and activities, ensuring a safe, punctual, and friendly service at all times.

You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, safeguarding, and vehicle care, while representing the organisation in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport passengers on designated routes and activities
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic weekly maintenance checks
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and roadworthy
  • Maintain accurate passenger registers and transport records
  • Monitor routes, traffic conditions, and delays
  • Promote positive behaviour and ensure safety at all times
  • Report incidents, delays, or vehicle faults promptly
  • Comply with all road safety, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations

Person Specification

  • Valid D1 or PCV driving licence
  • Previous minibus driving experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of road safety and compliance
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Calm and confident when working with passengers, including children
  • Committed to safeguarding and welfare
  • Flexible and a team player
