Mixed Tax Adviser

This Mixed Tax Adviser position involves management of a mixed tax compliance portfolio.

Client Details

Our client is an independent accountancy firm based in Farnham. They have established over many years and serve a loyal and well established SME client base.

Description

  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance services.
  • Manage corporate tax compliance cases.
  • Provide expert advice on personal tax planning, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
  • Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns and other related documentation.
  • Handle client queries and provide clear, tailored solutions to their tax concerns.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery across departments.
  • Identify opportunities to add value to clients through additional services or advice.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed.

Profile

A Successful Mixed Tax Advisor Should Have

  • Relevant qualifications in tax or accountancy, such as ATT, CTA, or qualified by experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation.
  • Experience of both personal tax and corporate tax compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.
