Mixed Tax Adviser
This Mixed Tax Adviser position involves management of a mixed tax compliance portfolio.
Client Details
Our client is an independent accountancy firm based in Farnham. They have established over many years and serve a loyal and well established SME client base.
Description
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance services.
- Manage corporate tax compliance cases.
- Provide expert advice on personal tax planning, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
- Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns and other related documentation.
- Handle client queries and provide clear, tailored solutions to their tax concerns.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery across departments.
- Identify opportunities to add value to clients through additional services or advice.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed.

Profile
A Successful Mixed Tax Advisor Should Have
- Relevant qualifications in tax or accountancy, such as ATT, CTA, or qualified by experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation.
- Experience of both personal tax and corporate tax compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.
