Mixed Tax Manager (Advisory)
Salary: Up to £80,000
Working Arrangements: Full Time | Hybrid Working | Fully Remote Considered
Location: Office locations across Essex and East Anglia
Role Description
I’m working with a large, growing accountancy group that is looking to expand its Tax Advisory team.
This is a highly autonomous, 100% advisory position offering exposure to corporate, transaction and property tax work. The role can be shaped around your existing expertise and interests, with clients ranging from owner-managed businesses and corporate groups to property investors, private equity funds, and HNWIs.

What you’ll do
- Deliver a broad range of corporate, transaction, and property tax advisory projects.
- Advise on restructurings, acquisitions, disposals, succession planning, share transactions, and business exits.
- Support property-related matters, including SDLT, VAT, capital allowances, developments, and ownership structures.
- Manage advisory projects from initial scoping through to delivery.
- Prepare technical reports, clearance applications, and client-facing advice.
- Build strong relationships with clients and professional advisers.
- Identify tax risks, planning opportunities, and additional ways to support clients.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the Tax Advisory offering.

What you’ll need
- Experience within mixed tax, corporate tax, property tax, or transaction tax.
- Strong UK tax knowledge and the ability to communicate technical advice clearly.
- Confidence managing client relationships and working autonomously.
- CTA qualification or an equivalent would be preferred but is not essential.
