The Role
As a Mixed Tax Manager, you will manage a diverse portfolio across both corporate and personal tax, delivering a balance of compliance and advisory services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a mixed portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients in Hitchin
- Reviewing corporation tax computations and self-assessment tax returns
- Delivering advisory work including restructures, tax planning, and efficiency projects
- Handling HMRC correspondence and resolving technical queries
- Identifying planning opportunities across the Hitchin client base
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff within the Hitchin office
- Building strong, long-term client relationships
About You
- CTA qualified (essential)
- Strong experience across both corporate and personal tax within practice
- Confident delivering advisory work alongside compliance
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Commercially aware, proactive, and collaborative
- Experience reviewing and developing junior team members
