We're working with an innovative engineering organisation, due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Senior MMIC Design Engineer to join their expanding team and play a key role in the development of next-generation microwave and millimetre-wave solutions for high-performance applications.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology within a collaborative engineering environment, where you'll have the chance to influence product development, contribute to technical direction and support the growth of junior engineers.

The Role

As a Senior MMIC Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, development and verification of advanced MMIC solutions, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to take products from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance MMICs for RF and microwave applications.
  • Carry out circuit simulation, optimisation and design verification.
  • Support products throughout the full development lifecycle, from concept to manufacture.
  • Work closely with internal engineering teams and external manufacturing partners.
  • Produce technical documentation and contribute to design reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring where appropriate.

About You

We're looking for an experienced RF/MMIC engineer with a strong background in semiconductor design.

You'll ideally have:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronic Engineering, RF Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Commercial experience designing MMICs within the semiconductor or RF industry.
  • Experience designing RF amplifiers, frequency conversion circuits or other high-frequency components.
  • Knowledge of GaAs, GaN or similar semiconductor technologies.
  • Experience using RF simulation and measurement tools.
  • A strong understanding of RF and microwave systems.
