Mobile Care Assistant – Dual Role in Personal Care & Domestic Services
The Vacancy
Due to our evolving care and lifestyle delivery, we’re looking for passionate Mobile Care Assistants to join our growing team in Patchway and surrounding areas.
- Earn a £500 probationary bonus upon successful completion*
- Valid full UK driving licence and own vehicle is essential (full costs covered including mileage at 43p per mile)
- £14.50 per hour, with an extra £1.30/hour for evening and weekend shifts
- Part-time, rotating hours (7am–10pm) covering mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends

About the Role
This is a dual role combining Personal Care and Domestic Services. As a Mobile Care Assistant, you’ll work closely with Field Care Supervisors, House Managers, and Care Managers to deliver bespoke support, including:
- Personal Care: Assistance with daily activities, hygiene, and medication
- Domestic Support: Cleaning, shopping, and household management
- Companionship: Promoting wellbeing, social activities, and transport arrangements
- Communal Care: Maintaining cleanliness and presentation in shared areas
A field-based role requiring travel between developments—parking provided at sites.

Key Responsibilities
Support Individual Homeowners
- Provide personalised care (daily living, hygiene, medication)
- Offer domestic support (cleaning, shopping, household tasks)
- Promote social engagement and well-being
Domestic & Maintenance Duties
- Ensure communal areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming
- Maintain high standards across our developments
Social & Wellbeing Support
- Assist with appointments, transport, and social activities
- Help homeowners feel connected, valued, and independent
What We’re Looking For
Essential
✅ Valid full UK driving licence (own vehicle required) ✅ Willingness to travel between multiple developments ✅ Flexibility to work early mornings, late shifts, and alternate weekends
Desirable (Not Essential but Preferred)
✔ Experience in a care environment (Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification) ✔ Strong interpersonal and organisational skills ✔ Empathy and adaptability with older adults
Note: Full training provided for new starters.
