The Vacancy
Due to our evolving care and lifestyle delivery, we are looking for passionate Mobile Care Assistants to join our growing care team.
Receive a £300 bonus when you pass probation.***
Location
Across Preston & Surrounding Areas – A valid full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle is essential to be considered for this role. Travel expenses covered; mileage paid at 43p per mile.
Working Details
- Hourly rate: £14.50 per hour
- + £0.30 extra per hour for working evening hours
- + £1.30 extra per hour for weekend hours
- Hours: Up to 20 hours per week on a rota basis (mornings, evenings, weekends)

About the Role
This is a dual role consisting of Personal Care and Domestic Services. You’ll work closely with the Field Care Supervisor, House Managers, and Registered Care Manager to deliver personalised care and lifestyle services, such as:
- Assisting with personal care (daily activities, hygiene, medication).
- Offering companionship and supporting wellbeing activities.
- Ensuring communal areas are cleaned regularly.

This is a mobile field-based role focused on growing our care service, requiring travel between our developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Individual Homeowners:
- Provide personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance.
- Domestic Support:
- Maintain communal areas to a high standard.
- Offer domestic support (cleaning, shopping, household management) for homeowners.
- Social Support:
- Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements, and appointments.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
- Ideally, previous experience in a care environment with a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (training provided for career changers).
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and time management.
- Domestic or housekeeping experience welcomed.
Essential Requirements
- Valid full UK driving license and personal vehicle required.
- Ability to work a rota, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
