Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mobile Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team in Partington, United Kingdom. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced catering environment and is ready to deliver exceptional service across multiple locations. As a mobile catering assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our site-based teams while maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and customer care.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and snacks, ensuring all items meet our culinary standards
- Maintain strict compliance with Health and Safety regulations and Food Safety procedures at all times
- Keep kitchen, counter, and service areas clean, organized, and hygienic throughout each shift
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all customers while representing our brand positively
- Support the catering team in a collaborative manner, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
- Manage inventory and supplies effectively, reporting any shortages or concerns promptly
- Operate mobile catering equipment safely and responsibly
- Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive environment for both team members and customers
- Ensure all food handling practices meet regulatory standards and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in food preparation or catering assistance (or willingness to learn with on-the-job training)
- Strong understanding of Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain high standards of personal and kitchen hygiene
- Reliable own transport and valid driver's license for mobile working
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work varied schedules as required
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in a mobile or multi-site catering environment
- Experience with catering equipment and food service operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous roles
- Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Willingness to support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture
Additional Information
16-20 hours a week term time only must drive
