Mobile Cleaner (ATM Maintenance) – Stoke & Surrounding Areas
Our client, market leaders in their field, is seeking a Mobile Cleaner to travel across Stoke, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, and surrounding regions, effectively maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs).
About the Role
Professional experience and qualifications are highly valued, but soft skills are equally important for success in this role.
You will be responsible for ensuring ATMs are kept to a high standard of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene—focusing on both the external units and surrounding areas to create a safe, professional, and customer-ready environment across multiple sites daily.
With 10 minutes per ATM, you’ll be visiting multiple locations per day, working independently via company-provided vehicles (which can also be used for personal use) while adhering to schedules.
Ideal for those who enjoy driving, independent work, and light cleaning duties—with opportunities for long-term progression, including installations and maintenance training.
Main Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Maintenance of ATMs:
- Conduct scheduled cleaning of ATM units across assigned locations.
- Thoroughly clean all external surfaces, including screens, keypads, fascia, and cash dispensing areas.
- Maintain hygiene standards for high-touch points to minimise contamination risks.
- Tidy surrounding areas, such as floors, signage, and enclosures.
- Equipment & Compliance:
- Use approved cleaning materials and methods to avoid damaging sensitive hardware.
- Follow cleaning schedules, route plans, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Digitally record completed cleans using handheld devices.
- Identify and report any visible damage, faults, vandalism, or security concerns promptly.
- Ensure sites remain clean, safe, and presentable.
- Operational & Vehicle Management:
- Maintain company vehicle, stock, and cleaning materials in an organised manner.
- Comply with health & safety, lone-working, and site-specific policies.
- Customer & Team Interaction:
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, especially during challenging situations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding service standards.
- Attend training classes to uphold service-level agreements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Work both independently and collaboratively.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing service, reliability, and performance.

Skills and Experience
- Preferred, but not mandatory:
- Experience in cleaning, field-based roles, or facilities services.
- Essential Soft & Practical Skills:
- Strong attention to detail, with a proud presentation reputation.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to structured routes and schedules.
- Outdoor-ready mindset for travel between multiple locations.
- Basic IT skills for mobile reporting.
- Awareness of safety protocols and public-facing environments.
- Flexible attitude towards workloads and willingness to learn.
