Mobile Diesel Mechanic
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and skilled mobile diesel mechanic to join our repair team. In this role, you will handle a variety of repairs and diagnostics across diesel systems, ensuring high standards of maintenance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be experienced in using diagnostic tools and have a strong foundation in mechanical systems. Pay: $28 - $35 Per Hour

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of fleet repairs and preventative maintenances, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
- Diagnose and repair systems such as ABS, braking, hydraulic, light engine, pneumatic, and other related systems.
- Utilize diagnostic software to assist with troubleshooting and efficient repair processes.
- Accurately document work time, service reports, and equipment status to ensure precise billing and record-keeping.
- Operate a service truck to reach various customer locations, ensuring a professional presence and communication with customers.
- Responsible for decision-making surrounding vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including managing warranty submissions and part storage for reimbursement.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience performing repairs on diesel systems and using diagnostic software for troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical skills with proficiency in advanced diagnostics, overhaul, and repair of all vehicle components and systems.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification highly valued.
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred; Class B CDL License with Air Brake Endorsement is an asset.
- Strong verbal and documentation skills, with the ability to work well with others and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
- Must own basic tools required for the job.
- ASE qualification advantageous.
Shift Schedule
- Type of employment: Full Time
- Expected hours: 38-42
- Days/hours the employee is expected to work: Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm; Rotating weekends depending on client needs
Full Time
- 40 hours per week
