Mobile Domestic and Lifestyle Assistant – Erdington & Surrounding Area
The Vacancy
Due to our evolving care and lifestyle delivery, we are looking for passionate Mobile Domestic and Lifestyle Assistants to join our growing care team.
Location & Responsibilities
- Location: Erdington and surrounding area
- Essential: Valid full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
- ** घAngel** – Travel expenses fully covered (mileage paid at 43p per mile)
Pay & Hours
- Hourly Rate: £12.85 p/h
- Hours: Up to 20 hours per week (rota basis covering mornings, evenings, alternate weekends, and bank holidays between 7am–10pm)
- Sponsorship: Not available
About the Role
This role combines domestic services and independent living support, working closely with Field Care Supervisors, House Managers and Registered Care Managers to deliver tailored services such as:
- Cleaning communal areas and homeowners’ apartments
- Laundry, shopping, and household tasks
- Companionship and wellbeing activities
- Mobile field-based position with travel required between developments
Key Responsibilities

2. Social Support
- Arrange transport and accompany homeowners to appointments/activities
- Enhance wellbeing and social connections
Optional Additional Role
If additional support is available, you may also assist with:
- Personal care (daily activities, hygiene, medication assistance) (Note: This opens eligibility for Care & Support roles at £14.50 p/h + 43p mileage)
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Domestic/housekeeping preferred but not essential—full training provided for career changers
- Driving: Valid full UK license + access to a vehicle
- Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and time management
- Availability: Flexible rota including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
