Mobile Electrical Engineer
๐ Location: Southeast Region (Hampshire / Southampton & Surrounding Areas) ๐ผ Type: Full-Time | Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our mobile Facilities Maintenance (FM) team, operating across the Southeast region, with a focus on Southampton.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of commercial contracts.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across commercial buildings
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and industry compliance standards
- Undertake testing, inspections, and certifications where required
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Complete accurate digital job reports and documentation
- Work flexibly across multiple sites within the region

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- ** certification:** 18th Edition (BS7671) qualification
- Experience: Proven experience in Facilities Management / Building Services environments
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of compliance, statutory regulations, and safe systems of work
- Licence: Full UK driving licence (essential for mobile role)
- Skills: Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Approach: Proactive, customer-focused mindset
