Mobile Engineers (iOS & Android) – 2 Positions
6-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | £450/day | Sheffield (Hybrid)
We're currently looking for two experienced Mobile Engineers (one iOS and one Android) to join a major digital transformation programme being delivered for a global financial services organisation via a leading consultancy.
This is an opportunity to join an established engineering team working on a brand-new employee experience platform, replacing an existing SaaS solution with a modern, in-house application that will be used by thousands of colleagues.
The platform includes features such as:
- Workspace, desk and meeting room booking
- Parking management
- Facilities management requests
- Company news and events
- Catering services
- Employee workplace journeys
What we're looking for We're seeking engineers who bring strong native mobile development experience and can positively influence engineering standards and development practices. You'll be joining a team that is looking to strengthen its mobile capability, so we're particularly interested in people who enjoy mentoring, challenging existing approaches and introducing modern development techniques.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
