Role Description
This full-time, on-site Mobile Engineer role is based in Macclesfield and focuses on delivering high-quality engineering services across customer sites within the FM Hard Services sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Performing mobile inspections, planned maintenance, and reactive repairs on building systems, including M&E, HVAC, Fire & Security, and BMS equipment.
- Diagnosing faults, implementing solutions, and ensuring all work is completed to regulatory and company standards, with clear documentation and reporting.
- Coordinating with the wider engineering and support teams, prioritising customer needs, and maintaining a professional and safety-conscious approach.

The Mobile Engineer is expected to:

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and working with Mobile Applications to support engineering workflows and reporting.
- Experience in iOS Development and familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles when using mobile or handheld devices for technical tasks.
- A solid foundation in Software Development concepts as they apply to configuring, using, or integrating engineering-related software tools.
- Relevant engineering qualifications, such as an NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or building services disciplines.
- Practical experience in FM Hard Services (e.g., M&E maintenance, HVAC systems, Fire & Security, BMS) and working in mobile, field-based roles.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently while managing time and travel efficiently.
- Good communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and an understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements.
- A valid UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites are highly beneficial.
