Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Luton Area
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Location: Luton area (within 1-hour travel radius) Travel covers: Milton Keynes, St Albans, Bicester, Chelmsford, Reading, Guildford, Dartford, and North London

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading building services and facilities maintenance provider for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a supportive and well-established team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse range of commercial sites, performing both planned and reactive electrical maintenance. Autonomy, a structured workload, and on-the-go mobility are key aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality electrical maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial sites
- Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team to ensure efficient and safe maintenance of building services equipment
- Operate within a flexible one-hour commute radius from Luton
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive electrical maintenance and fault-finding
- Maintenance and servicing of:
- Emergency lighting systems
- AHUs (Air Handling Units)
- Motors and associated building services equipment
- General electrical maintenance across commercial environments
- Ensure all work adheres to health & safety and compliance standards
- Complete job sheets and reporting via mobile/tablet systems

Requirements
Essential:
✅ Level 3 Electrical Qualification ✅ Strong background in electrical building services maintenance ✅ Experience in planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance ✅ Ability to work independently across multiple sites ✅ Full UK driving licence
