ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is looking for a Mobile App Marketing Director to support its global acquisition strategy. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to create and execute media strategies to deliver MAI (Mobile App Install) channel acquisition growth and efficiency goals globally while working with cross-functional teams – product, UX, and measurement. This role is part of the Performance Marketing Team, reporting into the Global Paid Social and MAI lead. Audible’s mobile campaigns are supported through multiple channels including, but not limited to app search, display/programmatic and social.
As a Mobile Marketing Director, you will…
- Support the development of acquisition strategy and tactics for the Audible app on iOS and Android
- Establish, execute and measure the effectiveness of mobile advertising initiatives to incremental conversions and HVAs
- Leverage Amazon DSP and agency partners to manage and optimize mobile advertising
- Own the following at the tactical level in partnership with our agency: managing campaign execution, creating and optimizing campaigns, analyzing campaign reporting and solving problems
- Take relevant action on insights gained from mobile campaign reporting
- Define experimentation framework, manage execution and share learnings
- Influence cross-functional initiatives such as global promotion, ASO testing, product collaboration
- Manage creative needs and request new assets as needed to optimize performance
- Oversee and continue to improve tracking, attribution, and overall data access to analyze key metrics
- Ensure key targets around incrementality are met through close collaboration with internal partners on test design, implementation and review.
- Align with the Paid Social team to develop a holistic Paid Social approach across App and Web together

Basic Qualifications:
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Professional Degree (Bachelors’ degree, MBA, M.A., M.S., or another post-graduate degree)
- Experience in performance marketing with a focus on mobile apps, ideally including experience in leading performance marketing teams across multiple geographies and languages
- Experience driving mobile app acquisition growth in a highly competitive marketplace environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with product and technical teams
- Solid experience with technical set-up and implementation of app tracking including managing of mobile measurement vendors
- Deep knowledge of the mobile marketing ecosystem including Google Ads, Paid Social, ASA and Programmatic
- Sense of urgency; ability to make things happen quickly across teams
- The ability to excel in a lean, fast-paced work environment – self-initiative and self-confidence is a must
- Great verbal and written communication skills and influencing
- Strong analytical skills, experience in using data and metrics to measure impact, and ability to turn analysis into actionable programs
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
