Role: Mobile Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Across the North West region (Mobile) Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00

We are seeking a professional Mobile Multiskilled Engineer with an Electrical or Mechanical Bias to carry out planned maintenance, reactive fault-finding, repairs, and occasional installations across our core contracts within the North West region. This role requires an individual committed to upholding the highest standards while engaging proactively with clients where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with specifications, PPM, schedules, and procedures.
  • Complete and manage both electronic and paper-based documentation.
  • Provide and manage quotations for outstanding actions.
  • Conduct required electrical tests and record results for repairs and installations.
  • Provide emergency call-out support based on a rotation system.
  • Offer a prompt and effective response to critical situations to protect clients’ systems and maintain operational continuity.
  • Diagnose system faults and implement safety fixes or preventive measures on client premises.
  • Work independently with ample scope for discretion and delegation.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Formal electrical qualification including:
    • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation
  • Formal qualifications in either:
    • Level 2 & 3 in Mechanical Engineering
    • Plumbing (Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Experience in a similar Facilities Management role
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Proven capability to respond to unforeseen emergencies under flexible time constraints
