Job Role: Mobile Parking Officer
Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days, 07:00- 19:00 - average 42 hours per week
Pay rate: £13.45 per hour
Location: Manchester/Greater Manchester area
Reporting to: Support Services Manager & Mobile Response Team Supervisor
Overview
Anchor Group Services are recruiting for a Mobile Parking Services Officer to join their growing Manchester based enforcement team. Deploying from a central Manchester location, the Parking Services Officer will patrol multiple locations in the region to monitor car park user compliance. A response vehicle will be provided for travel between contract locations.
You will deploy in a bespoke Anchor response vehicle which is equipped with live vehicle tracking, CCTV systems, satellite navigation and lone worker safety systems. You will also be supported by a 24-hour control room and help desk team and innovative live reporting technology.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, driving between sites, and delivering high standards of customer service in a varied and rewarding role.
Duties Include:
- Conducting regular patrols of a portfolio of car park locations to ensure vehicles comply with the advertised terms and conditions for parking.
- Issuing Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) to non-compliant vehicles.
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring ongoing compliance with the BPA AOS Code of Practice.
- Conducting security patrols of client premises to deter criminal activity, identify security risks, and report any issues requiring attention.
- Responding to alarm activations, carrying out initial site investigations, completing incident reports, and escalating concerns in line with company procedures.
- Producing accurate incident and activity reports.
- Providing a professional, helpful, and customer-focused service to visitors and members of the public.
- Responding to operational requirements across the regional contract portfolio.

Requirements
No experience is necessary for this role and a comprehensive package of induction and training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Essential:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) License
- Valid Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Full 5-year employment checkable history.
- Professional, reliable, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
- Confident dealing with members of the public
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally
