By joining Veolia as a Plant Operative, you are playing your part in helping us to combat climate change. Veolia Basildon Transfer Station is located on the Burnt Mills Industrial Estate with good public transport links. The site operates from 07:00 to 17.00 where the commercial department will dispose of their waste in Basildon up to 20,000 tonnes per year. What will you be doing? Ensuring the yard area is kept clean Marshalling vehicle movement around the site at busy times Assisting site supervisor in day to day running of site operations What we're looking for; Essential: Forklift qualified Shovel licence Knowledge of using weighbridge systems Ability to work as part of a team Desirable: Good communication skills Reversing assistant experience What’s next?
