Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join our team, covering Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to work with a leading company in the powered access industry. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of powered access equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service while working on-site at client locations.
- Adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- CAP (Competent Assessed Person) qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in servicing and repairing powered access equipment or similar machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Day-to-Day
- Start your day by reviewing scheduled jobs and preparing your van with the necessary tools and equipment.
- Travel to client sites in Portsmouth and surrounding areas to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and explain any necessary repairs.
- Complete service reports and update the system with accurate job details.
- Return to the depot as needed to restock parts or liaise with the team.
