QA Engineer – Hybrid Role (2 days in London)

About the Role

Waracle are seeking a QA Engineer to join their world-class digital technology consultancy, home to a diverse, smart, curious, and ambitious community of specialists in technology-driven transformation. They collaborate with ambitious clients to solve their biggest business and customer challenges—innovating and creating intelligent digital products and services.

The role works seamlessly across strategy, design, delivery, and operations, tackling complex challenges and delivering business-critical IT transformation projects.

This is a hybrid position, with a requirement to work from their London office for 2 days per week.

The Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented problem solver who loves collaborating to build high-quality digital experiences? As a QA Engineer at Waracle, you’ll:

  • Ensure our products are seamless and user-friendly by detecting and resolving technical issues.
  • Translate technical defects into real-world business value, communicating clearly across teams—from developers to stakeholders.
  • Grow within a supportive environment while helping to onboard new team members into the QA community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborative Test Design: Independently design and execute tests, advocating for end-user journeys using product personas.
  • Automation Engineering: Build and maintain regression automation packs, integrating them into CI pipelines for rapid feedback.
  • System Health & Observability: Analyse logs and dashboards to investigate issues and validate system health throughout testing.
  • Inclusive Testing (NFR): Conduct tests across non-functional areas such as Accessibility, Security, and Performance to ensure products are universally usable.
  • Clear Communication: Provide concise updates in stand-ups while explaining complex technical details in accessible terms for non-technical audiences.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
