Mobile Response Officer

Mobile Response Officer – Night Duty (Full-Time, Flexible)

About The Role

Days of Working: This role requires full flexibility to support operational needs around Yeovil, working Nights 4 on, 4 off (12-hour shifts) with some weekend day shifts if required.

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Mobile Response Officer to join our team. This dynamic role involves attending alarm activations, conducting site inspections, carrying out mobile patrols, and responding to emergencies to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ premises.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to alarm activations and conducting thorough site investigations.
  • Performing mobile patrols, security checks, and inspections.
  • Locking and unlocking premisses at client sites.
  • Checking vacant properties to ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
  • Responding to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
  • Maintaining a visible, professional security presence.
  • Completing accurate incident reports, patrol records, and documentation.
  • Communicating with clients, colleagues, and the Control Room.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and health & safety standards.

As part of your role, a mobile driver is also required, meaning night duties will involve patrols, locks/unlocks, responding to alarm calls, a valid UK driving licence, and responding to ad-hoc security tasks as needed.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

Essential

  • Right to Work in the UK with the ability to pass an enhanced DBS check and BS7858 security clearance.
  • Valid SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority).
  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve.
  • Excellent decision-making under pressure.
  • Flexible working including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in mobile security, keyholding, or response roles (alarm response and property inspections).
  • Knowledge of security reporting systems and patrol procedures.
