About Relyon Guarding And Security Services

Relyon Guarding and Security Services is a privately owned business, established over 25 years ago with multiple contracts with many prestigious clients across the Bristol and the Southwest, with offices in Bristol and Devon. Our clients include, Mitie, Bath and Northeast Somerset Council, Environment Agency, Defra and Bupa to name a few.

Due to recent growth and new contract wins, we are now expanding our mobile night patrol team and would love you to join our professional, welcoming team dedicated to maintaining high standards, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring every member feels valued and supported.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mobile Security Officer to join our night operations team. This role involves patrolling and securing various client sites in and around Bristol, performing routine checks, and responding to alarms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Locking/unlocking client premises and performing routine security checks
  • Carrying out vacant property inspections
  • Conducting routine/random site patrols to prevent unauthorized access
  • Responding to alarm activations and disturbances
  • Completing all relevant paperwork, logs, and incident reports
  • Other security-related duties as needed

Shifts

Your shift pattern is determined by rota per month

Shift Times (depending on when the pattern falls)

  • 19:00–07:00 or 18:00-06:00 | 12-hour shifts | 4 on 4 off

Requirements

  • Valid Frontline SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding)
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence held for 2+ years
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Own transport to travel to/from BS35 4HQ
  • Previous experience in mobile security (essential)
  • Must be 23+ years old for insurance purposes (preferred)
  • A clean or low point driving record (details may be required)
