Mobile Seed Assistant
Mobile Seed Assistant – Full-Time & Part-Time Roles
Nova Talent is partnering with a leading UK agricultural supply company to recruit:
- One full-time Mobile Seed Assistant (45 hours/week, Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays 7am–4pm)
- One part-time Mobile Seed Assistant (27 hours/week, Thursday–Saturday 7am–4pm)
This customer-facing role involves:
- Regular travel to customer sites in a company vehicle
- Supporting seed production operations
- Delivering high-quality service on location
About the Role

- Agricultural experience (or a strong interest in the sector)

Salaries & Contracts
- Full-time: £28,000pa (occasionally requiring Saturday work)
- Part-time: £14,000pa
- Overtime available during peak season

Key Responsibilities
- Operating the mobile seed plant and machinery (e.g., forklift trucks)
- Ensuring strict health & safety adherence
- Conducting intake testing to guarantee product quality
- Tipping seed content into the plant for processing
- Accurately treating seed through the chemical machine
- Packing, bagging, and labelling finished products
- Cleaning machinery and maintenance tasks
- Updating stock records and coordinating with depot supervisors
- Maintaining cleanliness in production areas
- Driving the company support vehicle

Key Requirements
- Agricultural background (not compulsory, but highly desirable)
- Satisfactory UK driving licence required
- Experience driving a fork truck (counterbalance) beneficial
- Mechanically minded with processing plant machinery experience
- PA1, PA11 certification desirable but not essential
- Strong stock and storage management skills
