Company Description
Pirtek entered the UK marketplace in 1988 and has grown to become the number one provider of fluid transfer solutions and on-site repairs. Specialising in hydraulic hoses, pipe fittings & couplings. Pirtek Europe has service centres and on-site teams working in Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands and the UK. We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Sales Development Manager to join our UK operation to support the Sales department and drive business forward.
Role Description
We are seeking an outgoing and competitive MSST (Mobile Sales and Service Technician) Servicing on site hydraulic hoses repairs in Northampton.
We are looking for a self motivated person who can work well as part of a team. We would prefer experience in a mechanical plant or engineering background and will offer training for the right person. There will be an after hours call out roster which is on a 24 hour basis which you will be expected to undertake and includes weekends and bank holidays all year round. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to complete an online driving licence check.

The candidate is expected to maintain the highest levels of health and safety practice including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment where applicable
The day to day management of a Mobile Sales and Service Unit (MSSU) to include:
- Maintaining sufficient stock levels within the MSSU as per a franchise supplied stock list.
- Performing routine maintenance checks in accordance with the MSSU defect checklist
- Ensuring the MSSU is kept clean and tidy inside and outside
- Managing all Pirtek supplied documentation within the MSSU including technical and procedural updates
- To provide assistance to Centre staff within the franchise when requested
- To attend Pirtek training courses as requested by management
- Good personal presentation and adherence to Pirtek policies and procedures

Work Experience
- Demonstrate experience in a hydraulics environment/industry
- Experience in an Engineering/Technical and/or Hydraulics environment
- Engineer role in Services/Hydraulics (desirable)
