Area Support Manager – Sushi Chef

Location: South West (Bristol/Gloucestershire area) Salary: £32k per annum + travel allowance + performance bonus

About the Role

Hana Group UK delivers authentic, high-quality sushi through our Sushi Gourmet kiosks in retail environments. We’re seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to transition into an Area Support Manager role, providing daily hands-on and remote support to teams across your region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily support: Assist kiosk teams both onsite and remotely
  • Team coaching: Drive performance and morale through guidance
  • Quality control: Ensure precision, presentation, and food safety standards across sites
  • Kiosk audits: Review compliance with company regulations and procedures
  • Supply chain support: Finalise and align ordering processes for your area
  • Training oversight: Aid in onboarding new team members and new kiosk openings
  • Remote validation: Review submissions on the compliance platform

Requirements

Key Competencies

  • Experience as a Sushi Chef in a fast-paced setting (preferred; full training provided)
  • Proven skill in food prep, hygiene (e.g., HACCP compliance), and food safety
  • Prior leadership/support experience—multi-site management is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a supportive leadership style
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working independent(ly) and managing multi-location priorities
  • Daily travel within your designated area
