About The Company
Farol Ltd is an extremely successful family owned business. Established in 1976 and now employing 280 people across our 7 depots, we are the market leaders in agriculture, groundcare and homeowner products, holding the market leading John Deere franchise along with many other brands. We also have a Tyres division, which is where these vacancy sit.
About The Roles
As one of our professional Mobile Tyre Fitters, your role will be to fit and maintain agricultural and construction machinery tyres, with a small degree of commercial and car tyre maintenance/fitting as well. Your work will be 95% field-based, fitting tyres at our customers' premises. However, you will need to visit the Thame/Hinckley daily to collect equipment needed for you to carry out your work out on site.
This is a customer facing role so strong interpersonal skills and communication skills are essential. Also, due to the nature of the role, you need to be capable of working with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.
About You
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to start a long-term career with a highly successful and ever-growing family owned business – the largest John Deere dealerships in the UK. Ideally we are looking for someone with previous tyre fitting experience of some kind, or someone used to working with agricultural/construction machinery. However, we are also willing to take on someone without experience provided they can demonstrate the right aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
