Mobile Vehicle Technician

Mobile Vehicle Technician – Birmingham

Salary: up to £40,000 basic per annum + overtime Hours: Monday to Friday, 40-hour weeks, Saturday mornings (rota-based) Location: Birmingham Reference: 30763


About the Role

Responsibilities

On-the-road duties:

  • Respond quickly to vehicle breakdowns, diagnose faults, and either:
    • Restore vehicles to working condition
    • Arrange safe transportation to the workshop
  • Conduct vehicle servicing, general maintenance, and electrical diagnostics

Requirements

  • Qualification: Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ). *Level 2 experience may be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years as a vehicle technician, preferably in mobile or workshop roles.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence (required)
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability in diagnostics, electrical systems, and fault-finding.
