Mobile Vehicle Technician - Role 1
Location: Mobile (West Midlands & London opportunities available)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience + overtime opportunities
About the Role
Not all technicians are built for the workshop.
Some people prefer four walls and the same routine every day. Others enjoy getting out, solving problems, meeting customers and having the freedom to manage their own day.
We're growing, investing in our mobile fleet and looking for talented Mobile Vehicle Technicians to join our team.
Working from a fully equipped mobile workshop, you'll carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs while delivering exceptional customer service. If you're looking for a role where no two days are the same and your career can grow alongside the business, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
- Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Complete mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard.
- Service vehicles in line with manufacturer recommendations.
- Deliver safe, efficient and professional workmanship.
- Maintain accurate job records, including parts used and time taken.
- Explain repairs clearly and professionally to customers.
- Manage the tools, equipment and stock within your mobile workshop.
- Follow company procedures and health & safety standards.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Great communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own tools.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a mobile or field-based role.
- Experience working on hybrid and electric vehicles.
- Passion for learning and developing technical skills.

Mobile HGV Mechanic - Role 2
Location: Mobile (West Midlands & London opportunities available)

About the Role

If you're the type of mechanic who enjoys getting stuck in, solving problems and takes pride in keeping trucks and trailers on the road, keep reading.
We're growing fast, investing in our people and looking for skilled Mobile HGV Mechanics who want more than just another workshop job. You'll have the freedom of working from your own fully equipped mobile workshop, backed by a team that genuinely supports you and gives you the opportunity to progress.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing and preventative maintenance on HGV trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose and repair faults, from electrical systems to braking components.
- Attend roadside breakdowns and carry out emergency repairs.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections, ensuring they're safe and compliant.
- Use the latest diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
- Maintain accurate service records.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business professionally.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience working on HGV trucks and trailers.
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience carrying out trailer repairs.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and complete work to a high standard.
- Positive attitude with pride in your workmanship.
Desirable
- IRTEC accreditation.
- Roadside breakdown experience.
- Experience working with DAF, Scania, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz or MAN trucks.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
