Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Anchor Group Services as a Mobilisation Manager on a fixed-term basis, supporting the successful mobilisation and stabilisation of new Security, Cleaning, and Facilities Management contracts across our London portfolio.
We're looking for an experienced Mobilisation Manager who is available for an immediate start and can take ownership of multiple contract mobilisations across London. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing complex transitions, and can bring structure, governance, and operational excellence to contract start-ups.
As Mobilisation Manager, you will lead mobilisation activity from contract award through to operational delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, in line with contractual requirements, and client expectations. Working closely with operational leaders, clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring new contracts are established for long-term success while maintaining exceptional levels of customer service, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end mobilisation of new Security, Cleaning, and Total FM contracts from contract award through to stabilised operational handover.
- Support the stabilisation of newly mobilised contracts where additional operational support is required.
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed mobilisation plans, ensuring all milestones, workstreams, risks, and dependencies are delivered on time and within budget.
- Act as the central point of coordination between clients, operational teams, suppliers, recruitment functions, and senior stakeholders throughout mobilisation projects.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding activities to ensure sufficient resource is in place ahead of contract commencement.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and change impacts throughout mobilisation phases.
- Ensure all mobilisation activity aligns with Anchor standards, contractual requirements, governance frameworks, and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high standard of communication and service delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
- Embed health & safety, compliance, and information security requirements into all mobilisation activities.
- Monitor progress against agreed plans and provide regular reporting updates to senior stakeholders.
- Support operational teams through transition periods to ensure a smooth and controlled handover into business-as-usual operations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
