Modeller 2 (Bridges and Civils)

Context The Modeller will work with a team of other modellers and engineers producing and delivering the electrical and mechanical design of allocated Projects as instructed by the projects Lead Engineer and/or the Senior Modeller. Missions/Main Duties Deliver a portfolio of projects to the required quality, time and budget, showing self-checking, with minimum input by others Have a positive attitude towards checking and quality Plan and prioritise tasks effectively for yourself with minimal input by others, reporting back on progress and delivering on commitments you have made Provide guidance to more junior members of the CAD/BIM team Demonstrate behaviours aligned with SYSTRA’s behavioural framework by actively fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, respect and empowerment, contributing to an environment where all colleagues can thrive, achieve and grow together Profile/Skills A high level of ability in the Bentley suite of products and able to provide guidance to others A high level of ability in applying procedures and standards that apply to CAD/Modelling and provide guidance to others Experience of working with contractors in a design and build environment Experience within the rail sector covering a broad range of design challenges at different stages of design development Experience of using data management systems Experience of safety standards and CDM regulations and a track record of applying them, showing an ability to identify and mitigate hazards in designs Experience within the rail sector covering a broad range of design challenges at different stages of design development Good command of written and spoken English Experience of using other CAD/BIM modelling products such as AutoDesk/Revit would be useful Experience of Projectwise would be useful Ability to travel to other offices on occasion
