Molecular Biology Experts $150 per hour

Location: Remote UK

Description Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge GenAI team to be at the core of the AI revolution, where your expertise fuels the development of the most advanced models for science.

Overview

A leading AI lab is building models that reason across the life sciences, and we're assembling a small cohort of molecular biologists to elevate the quality of the training data. The focus is the design of DNA and RNA sequences — the work a molecular biologist does prior to conducting experiments — including primers, plasmids, RNAs, and repair templates.

What you'll do

  • Design and review DNA/RNA sequences and constructs — primers, plasmids, RNAs, repair templates, and related molecular-biology design tasks drawn from your professional experience.
  • Author challenging, domain-grounded tasks and write accurate, well-documented solutions that serve as ground truth.
  • Evaluate AI model outputs against expert-quality solutions and provide clear, written feedback on correctness, rigor, and reasoning.
  • Collaborate with other subject-matter experts to keep the training data consistent and accurate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who we're looking for

  • A practicing (or recently practicing) molecular biologist with hands-on experience designing nucleic-acid sequences prior to experiments.
  • A strong peer-reviewed publication record is a key measure of expertise — work in notable venues such as Nature, bioRxiv, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press, and eLife is especially valued. Please include publication links with your application.
  • Advanced degree (PhD strongly preferred) in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, synthetic biology, bioengineering, or a related life-science field.
  • Strong written communication and the ability to justify design choices clearly.
