We are seeking experienced molecular biology professionals to contribute to the development of next-generation AI models capable of advanced reasoning across the life sciences. This opportunity focuses on designing and evaluating DNA and RNA sequences used in modern molecular biology research, helping create high-quality training data for cutting-edge AI systems.
If you have hands-on experience designing nucleic acid constructs prior to experimental work, this is an opportunity to apply your expertise to projects at the intersection of molecular biology and artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review DNA and RNA sequences, including primers, plasmids, guide RNAs, repair templates, and other molecular biology constructs.
- Create challenging, scientifically accurate tasks based on real-world molecular biology workflows.
- Develop detailed, well-documented reference solutions that serve as expert ground truth for AI training.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, experimental validity, and biological reasoning.
- Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI model performance and consistency.
- Collaborate with fellow subject matter experts to ensure the quality and reliability of biological training data.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
