Molecular Biology PhD - Sequence Design

Position: Molecular Biology Experts
- Type: Contract
- Compensation: $70–$120/hour
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 2–3 weeks
- Commitment: 20+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Design and review DNA/RNA sequences and constructs, including primers, plasmids, RNAs, and repair templates.
- Author challenging, domain-specific tasks and write accurate, well-documented solutions as ground truth.
- Evaluate AI model outputs against expert-quality solutions and provide clear, written feedback on:
- Correctness
- Rigor
- Reasoning
- Collaborate with other subject-matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications
Must-Have
- Practicing or recently practicing molecular biologist with hands-on experience designing nucleic-acid sequences.
- Strong peer-reviewed publication record in venues such as:
- Nature
- bioRxiv
- Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press
- eLife
- PhD strongly preferred in:
- molecular biology
- genetics
- biochemistry
- synthetic biology
- bioengineering
- or a related life-science field
- Strong written communication skills and ability to justify design choices clearly.
