Monitoring Engineer Contract Opportunity

The role is fully remote, with occasional travel to the office 1-2 days per month, and offers up to £580 per day (Inside IR35), 6 months rolling contract.

We're looking for someone with strong observability and monitoring experience across technologies such as Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, APM, and SRE practices. A key requirement is holding a Dynatrace Associate Certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement monitoring and observability solutions.
  • Configure and support Dynatrace, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and visualisations.
  • Deliver APM, infrastructure, synthetic, and log monitoring solutions.
  • Support live services, incidents, and problem resolution.
  • Analyse performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Work with architects and project teams to embed monitoring into new solutions.
  • Drive SRE and observability best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and document solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement and monitoring tool optimisation.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
