Working closely with customers, Partners, and internal teams, Monitoring Solutions Specialist is a trusted advisor, helping organisations improve safety, reduce risk, increase efficiency, and enhance asset performance through the adoption of monitoring technologies and best-practice workflows.
Combining technical expertise, solution development, commercial ownership, and relationship management, this role will identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities, build and manage a healthy pipeline, and deliver against agreed revenue objectives while guiding customers from traditional monitoring approaches towards intelligent, automated solutions.
Above all, this is a role built on technical credibility, customer trust, and the ability to solve real-world challenges, creating lasting value for customers while supporting the continued growth of Hexagon's monitoring business across the region.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with customers to understand surveying, engineering, and monitoring challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create, develop, and manage a pipeline of monitoring opportunities to support regional growth and revenue objectives.
- Design and present monitoring solutions that deliver measurable operational and commercial value.
- Demonstrate monitoring technologies and workflows through customer meetings, workshops, presentations, and industry events.
- Guide customers from initial requirements through successful deployment and long-term adoption.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, Partners, and internal teams to develop opportunities and deliver successful outcomes.
- Support strategic account planning and business development initiatives across key sectors including construction, rail, infrastructure, utilities, and energy.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefits and recommendations.
- Maintain awareness of market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practice.
- Contribute to customer retention, solution adoption, and sustainable business growth.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
Success in the role will be measured through customer engagement, opportunity creation, pipeline growth, revenue delivery, and successful solution adoption.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Strong understanding of survey control principles, site workflows, and monitoring technologies.
- Experience delivering monitoring, engineering surveying, geomatics, or related infrastructure solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently to a range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Commercial awareness with experience identifying, developing, or supporting business opportunities.
- Ability to manage priorities independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Ability to travel frequently across UK and Ireland.
