Job Title: Care Assistant – Mornings & Flexible Hours

Location: Southampton

Pay: £16.59 - £17.15 per hour

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekend availability

Right at Home Solent is rated Outstanding by the CQC, that puts us in the top tier of homecare providers in the country. We are looking for Care Assistants across Southampton who want morning or flexible hours that leave room for the rest of your life.

The shifts we need

  • Morning shifts: 7am–1pm (with the option to pick up more hours in the afternoon if it suits you)
  • Flexible day shifts: 9:30am–1pm and 5:15pm–10pm. Your afternoon is completely free. School run, errands, study, rest, it is your time

No care experience needed, we train you fully. You will need:

  • A full UK driving license and your own vehicle
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Some weekend availability every other weekend
  • The kind of warmth and patience that makes someone feel safe in your company

A day in this role

Your morning might start at 7am helping a Client with their breakfast routine — the same person you helped yesterday, who has their tea with one sugar and likes to hear the radio on while they get dressed. By lunchtime, you have supported three or four people to start their day on their own terms, in their own homes. You have not been rushed. You have not been sent across the city. You have done work that actually matters.
