As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our operations across West and South West London, and we are looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaning Operative to join our team at a professional veterinary clinic in Twickenham (TW1).
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the clinic, ensuring the highest standards are consistently achieved.
- 📍 Location: TW1 – Twickenham, South West London
- 📅 Start Date: ASAP
- 🕒 Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00 AM – 8:30 AM
- Total: 15 hours per week
- 💷 Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning clinical rooms, treatment areas, and work surfaces
- Cleaning operating tables and veterinary areas
- Hoovering, mopping, and steam cleaning floors
- Cleaning reception areas, offices, kitchen facilities, toilets, and shower areas
- Emptying general waste and recycling bins
- Following hygiene and infection control procedures
- Maintaining consistently high cleaning standards throughout the clinic
Important Information:
This role is based within a veterinary clinic environment. Applicants must be comfortable working around animals and must not have pet allergies or a fear of animals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional cleaning experience in the UK
- Previous experience in office, healthcare, or clinical cleaning is highly desirable
- Experience using steam cleaning equipment is an advantage
- Good English communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning procedures
