Advice Quality Specialist
Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday)
Hybrid: 2-3 days in our Derby office, the rest from home
Up To £27,000 Plus Benefits
Are you an experienced Mortgage Adviser looking to move away from a sales-based role while still using your industry expertise?
This is an opportunity to build a career in Compliance and Regulatory Governance with one of the UK's leading mortgage networks. You'll use your knowledge of FCA regulation, Adviser standards and customer outcomes to support our Adviser community and help maintain the frameworks that keep our business operating to the highest standards.

As part of our Advice Quality Team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality, compliant advice. Taking ownership of your work, you’ll carry out second-line file reviews of Mortgage Adviser business, helping to maintain our industry-leading standards.
- Review Adviser files using our structured framework, ensuring the right customer outcomes are achieved
- Identify risks, trends and opportunities to enhance advice quality
- Provide clear, constructive feedback and guidance on remedial actions
- Work collaboratively with Advisers, Business Owners and colleagues to drive continuous improvement
- Support a culture of learning and development by sharing best practice
This role is about more than compliance; it’s about putting customers first and helping our Advisers be the very best they can be.

About You
You’ll bring a strong foundation in mortgage regulation, along with a proactive, detail-focused approach. Just as importantly, you’ll thrive in a collaborative environment where you can challenge constructively and support others to succeed.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Holds a CeMAP qualification (essential)
- Has a solid understanding of regulatory requirements within the mortgage advice industry
- Takes ownership and uses sound judgement to make confident decisions
- Has a strong eye for detail and can identify potential risks
- Manages time effectively to meet review targets
- Builds positive relationships across all levels
- Communicates with professionalism and integrity
- Holds (or is working towards) CeRER (desirable)
