Mortgages are a key part of our broader financial planning proposition, and we are continuing to expand our mortgage division to support both UK-based and expatriate clients from the Skybound Wealth UK hub in Bournemouth. The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Adviser to join Skybound Wealth on a self-employed basis, supporting the continued growth of our mortgage proposition across the Group. This role will focus primarily on generating and converting new business opportunities, working closely with our network of Private Wealth Advisers and wider introducer relationships. You will advise clients on UK residential and buy-to-let mortgages, including more complex cases involving expatriates, foreign currency earnings, overseas assets, and non-standard income structures. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven adviser who enjoys building relationships, delivering high-quality advice, and working within a collaborative. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on UK residential and Buy-to-Let mortgage solutions Support UK resident and expatriate clients with a range of lending requirements Generate new business through internal referrals, introducers, and professional connections Manage the full mortgage process from enquiry through to completion Structure and place complex cases including non-standard income and portfolio landlords Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders and business partners Work collaboratively with Private Wealth Advisers to integrate mortgage advice into wider financial planning conversations Maintain high standards of FCA compliance, documentation, and client outcomes Contribute to client education and promote the mortgage proposition across the business Desired Skills & Experience CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) is essential Previous experience advising on UK residential and Buy-to-Let mortgages Experience handling complex or high-value cases is advantageous Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market and lender criteria Comfortable working with self-employed clients, expatriates, and non-standard income structures Commercially minded with a client-first approach Strong relationship-building and business development skills Motivated to work in a self-employed environment with uncapped earning potential Why Join Skybound?
