Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Mortgage Adviser to join our client's growing team. The successful candidate will provide whole-of-market (or panel-based) mortgage advice, guiding clients through the home-buying, buy to let mortgages, and re-mortgaging process while delivering outstanding service and compliant, tailored recommendations.
You will assess clients’ financial circumstances, recommend suitable mortgage and protection solutions, and manage applications through to completion, building long-term relationships and contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide regulated mortgage advice in line with FCA requirements and company policies
- Conduct detailed fact-finds to understand clients’ financial needs and objectives
- Research and recommend suitable mortgage products from lenders
- Advise on associated protection products (life cover, critical illness, income protection, etc.)
- Manage mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties to progress cases
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with compliance standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting client relationships
- Meet individual and team performance targets
- Keep up to date with lender criteria, market changes, and regulatory developments

Skills & Experience
Essential
- CeMAP (or equivalent Level 3 Mortgage Advice qualification)
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Adviser
- Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market and lending criteria
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a pipeline and work to deadlines
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
