You're good at this job. You hit your numbers, your clients love you, and you know you've got what it takes to build a genuinely successful career in mortgages.

But somewhere along the way, the job started taking more than it gives.

You worked last Saturday. You'll probably work this one too. You've missed a sports day, rearranged a birthday dinner, and eaten yet another dinner alone because a client "could only do 7pm." You keep telling yourself it's just what the industry demands.

It isn't. We're proof of that.

About Thomas Honour Mortgage Services

We're an award-winning mortgage brokerage based in Brackley, Northamptonshire. We've built a business that generates consistent, high-quality leads, supports our advisors with a full admin team, and runs Monday to Friday - full stop.

No evening or weekend appointments. No bank holidays. We even close over Christmas.

Our advisors aren’t burned out; they're focused, and they're backed by an admin team that handles everything except the advice.

"We're not looking for advisors who want an easy life - we're looking for advisors who've realised that working yourself into the ground isn't the same as being successful."

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What the role looks like

You'll join a close-knit team of mortgage professionals in our relaxed Brackley office (think casual dress, and quarterly lunches and socials - not suits and silence). You'll be handed a steady flow of warm leads from day one, supported by a dedicated admin team who handle your paperwork, submit applications, write your advice letters, and chase lenders on your behalf.

Your job is to advise clients and close cases. Everything else is taken care of.

Our CRM automates document chases and follow-ups, so the time you'd normally spend on admin is spent in front of clients or at home, where you're supposed to be.
