Role Description
Details
- Role: Full-time Mortgage Broker (hybrid model – based in Ilford, with remote work flexibility)
- Focus: Delivering mortgage and protection advice tailored to client needs
Key Responsibilities
The Mortgage Broker will:
- Conduct client consultations to assess financial circumstances and recommend suitable mortgage and protection solutions.
- Source mortgage deals from the lender panel and manage applications from start to completion.
- Maintain compliance records to ensure regulatory standards.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships, addressing queries and clearly explaining mortgage options, risks, and obligations.
- Support business growth through networking, local marketing, and effective utilisation of Just Mortgages SE Group leads.

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
- Proven expertise in Mortgage Brokerage, including regulated experience.
- Strong finance and debt knowledge (e.g., debt consolidation, affordability assessments).
- Familiarity with mortgage marketing and brokerage practices, plus proactive growth strategies.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent) and current UK mortgage/protection regulations.
- CRITICAL communication, relationship-building, and client service skills, with an ability to clarify complex information.
- Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and proficient in organisation, multi-tasking, and deadline management.
- Comfortable working hybrid, leveraging digital CRM and tools to streamline processes.
