Are you an experienced Mortgage Broker looking to take the next step in your career and move into the wider commercial finance market?
Perhaps you already arrange buy-to-let, specialist property or commercial mortgages and would like the opportunity to offer clients a broader range of funding solutions, including business loans, commercial mortgages and other forms of commercial funding.
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing, independent commercial finance brokerage, where you’ll get support to develop your commercial finance knowledge and play a key part in the continued growth of the business.
You don’t necessarily need to be an established Commercial Finance Broker. The company is keen to speak with experienced mortgage professionals who understand property lending, can build trusted client relationships and are motivated to expand into the wider SME and commercial finance market.
It’s also a genuinely nice company to work for. The atmosphere is relaxed, supportive and down to earth, with flexibility around start and finish times and a team that trusts each other to manage their workload. There’s no corporate nonsense, no micromanagement and no pressure to recommend a particular lender or product. You’ll have the freedom to focus on finding the right solution for each client.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
