Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a self-employed Mortgage Broker at REALM Mortgages Ltd as an appointed representative. The Mortgage Broker will advise clients on suitable mortgage products, assess financial situations, and help structure solutions for home purchases, remortgages, property investments, and debt consolidation.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Gathering and analyzing client financial information
- Preparing applications
- Liaising with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents
- Monitoring cases through to completion
The role involves:
- Explaining complex mortgage options in clear terms
- Ensuring regulatory compliance
- Maintaining accurate records
The Mortgage Broker will also contribute to client acquisition and retention through:
- Proactive communication
- Relationship-building
- Participation in mortgage marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Professional experience as a Mortgage Broker, with strong knowledge of residential, buy-to-let, and specialist mortgage products.
- Skills in brokerage and finance, including assessing affordability, structuring mortgage solutions, and understanding lender criteria.
- Experience with debt consolidation solutions and the ability to evaluate suitability and impact on clients’ overall financial positions.
- Mortgage marketing skills, including client outreach, relationship management, and the ability to represent the brand professionally.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent) and a solid understanding of UK mortgage regulations and compliance.
- Strong analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems; prior experience in a remote or hybrid advisory environment is beneficial.
