Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage Broker role based at the A2B Financial Services office in Gosport. The Mortgage Broker will meet with clients to assess financial circumstances, explain mortgage and protection options, and recommend suitable products in line with regulatory requirements.   • Sourcing and comparing mortgage deals
  • Managing applications from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Liaising with lenders, insurers, solicitors, and other stakeholders
  • Preparing accurate documentation
  • Maintaining up-to-date client records
  • Providing clear, professional guidance at each stage of the process

The role also involves contributing to local marketing activities, building long-term client relationships, and staying informed about market developments, products, and compliance changes.

Qualifications

  • Strong mortgage advisory skills, including experience as a Mortgage Broker and familiarity with brokerage processes.
  • Knowledge of personal finance solutions such as debt consolidation and broader finance principles.
  • Understanding of mortgage marketing and client acquisition strategies within a regulated environment.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client service skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy in documentation, compliance, and record-keeping.
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent) and up-to-date knowledge of UK mortgage and protection products.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Prior experience in mortgage advising or financial services is highly beneficial.
